I wanted to know what the deal was for this band. They had a lot of write ups in Australia.
And they had this album (along with some others) in a 3 for $20 bin a long time ago.
I already did some research and I knew that the cover was designed by the great Storm Thorgerson, so this album got the nod.
And…
“Mountains” stood out and so did “Many Of Horror”. Actually “Many Of Horror” is a real good song.

Good album. I prefer Puzzle the album before, and their earlier stuff was interesting too. Lost it a bit for me now. Interestingly, a good friend of mine worked on the cover with Storm! Said it was an interesting shoot.

Yeah I read an interview about the winds in the shoot causing some havoc. And the patience to wait for that shot.
I Cranked Puzzle. It’s more Rock and distorted than Revolutions. I saved a few of the songs.
Thats kind of funny how are minds are at times. You like the album and you don’t check out anything else. I’m like that as well.

Distractions with other artists is the killer for me. I checked out the Puzzles album that one of the comments mentioned. It’s more rockier.
Biffy is pretty cool. My brother-in-law was recorded their next album Opposites with them. They went to this old church and they recorded the huge pipe organ for one of the songs. He said it was really a cool experience. He also said the guys were pretty awesome!
Nice story about your BIL. Now I need to check out Opposites. Lol.
That album cover reminds me of Renegade by Thin Lizzy.
I never thought of it but I agree. They always say that art is a sum of our influences.
